  • Not worth your effort to get this working

It more-or-less does what it says but, without updates for 3 years and some PHP errors (if you run in on PHP8), I'd go a different route. Much safer to do your calculations on ACF fields in your own code than rely on a plugin that's obviously been abandoned. The "maintainer" should probably pull this one from wordpress.org.

  • How to: Fix front-end issue

If you want to fix the plugin to work on the front-end you will have to rename the /wp-content/plugins/calculated-fields-for-acf/admin/assets/calculated-fields-for-acf.js to ml/wp-content/plugins/calculated-fields-for-acf/admin/assets/calculated-fields-for-acf.min.js The plugin wasn't working on the front-end because the calculated-fields-for-acf.min.js wasn't load because it doesn't exist.

  • Wasted hours, but they can't be bothered

I've wasted hours trying to get this to work again. My entire proposal system is dependent on it, but the last two versions rendered my estimates worthless. I reached out weeks ago and was simply ignored. If there was another plugin out there, I'd jump right in.

  • not working in frontend

I'm impressed with this plugin because it runs perfectly on the backend.. but it's very disappointing because it can't work on the frontend
