Features

The feature list from the plugin's own readme on WordPress.org, trimmed to the essentials.

  • Go to CloudSearch -> Settings
  • Enter your Amazon access key ID, Secret access key and the Amazon region where you have created the CloudSearch index
  • Enter a Search endpoint and the Domain name. Get these info in your CloudSearch dashboard in AWS Console
  • Choose post types, custom fields and custom taxonomies that you want to export to the CloudSearch index
  • Set up other settings or leave defaults
  • Save settings
  • Go to CloudSearch -> Manage
  • Click the action Create index, Run indexing and Sync all documents. Between every action wait until the Status field is Active, then go on with the next task
  • After these operation your index is ready, now you can search documents in your CloudSearch index

  • Works well & great support!

    This plugin works really well and makes integrating Amazon CloudSearch with your Wordpress site totally seamless. The documentation is comprehensive and helpful. The support threads have lots of useful information, as well. Andrea (the developer of this plugin) is very responsive to questions and even helped me fix an issue with my search results page with Divi. All around A+++ and highly recommend!

  • The best Search plugin for Amazon Cloudsearch

    If you use Wordpress and are hosted on Amazon and need the best search functionality there is, look no further than this plugin. It rocks. I have tried it all, the internal Wordpress search (which is a joke for a serious blog), Relevanssi (great but still uses a lot of resources) and ended up with this plugin. It is easy to configure and uses the power of Amazon to present quick search results to the visitor. Keep on rockin' Andrea. And thanks for implementing our ideas/requests for search suggestions and your quick replies on our questions.
