Solved access control for one custom post type only
We're using Melapress Role Editor for a very specific WordPress user role setup: giving a user role access to only one custom post type and the Media Library, without access to regular posts, pages, other custom post types or any other admin area. After creating a custom capability for the post type in ACF, we cloned the Author role using Melapress role editor. Then we setup a custom capabilities for the specific post type in ACF. Then again using Melapress role editor we removed the “general edit posts” capability. That was the trick. The result is exactly what was needed. As a bonus we now have a simpler to user user role tool in the user section in the admin area. The plugin is young, but it already solved a real use case for us that is not always easy to configure or find clear guidance for online. The interface is easy to use and the support from Melapress was very friendly and responsive. Lonmg story short.Very useful plugin if you need more control over WordPress roles, especially with custom post types.

Works great, very useful plugins.
I was referred to Melapress via godaddy for 2 factor authentication, after that worked perfectly I then found this plugin to solve user role / permission needs.
