  • Good Plugin

    A good plugin, everything works after careful tweaking of the template.

  • Creates an overprinted shambles

    Doesn't really work. It exported my whole site to a pdf, yes, but some pages were blank, some included multiple pages worth of overprinted material. Basically useless.

  • The Only Free PDF Generator with Layout Control

    Feb 2nd, 2018: Working on WordPress 4.92 This is the only free PDF generator in the WordPress ecosystem that I am aware of that actually gives you full control of the HTML & CSS files, meaning you can craft highly customized PDFs. All the other PDF generators are a joke... even some of the paid ones. This plugin uses DOMPDF, so if you were planning on home-rolling a WordPress plugin to implement DOMPDF for your site then this is a great base plugin to start with! Will save you two or three days of setup time.

  • Promising, but bugged

    Promising plugin. I have a few issues with it. 1. Trying to run mysite.com/?export=pdf causes an error: Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '(...)/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-pdf-exporter/process/assets/pdf_layout.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php/inst/php-5.3.27/pear/php/') in (...)/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-pdf-exporter/process/config.php on line 27 so I've moved the /plugins//simple-pdf-exporter/assets/ directory into /plugins/simple-pdf-exporter/process/ and it seens to fixed it. 2. Special characters are not working. E.g. polish characters like źćłóą are problematic. Without it I can't use the plugin. I hope it can be fixed any time soon.
