Great for subscriptions
I started with the free and upgraded to the pro. It's an excellent plugin. It's easy to setup and the documentation available to create variations, etc is easy to understand. They are a little slow to answer emails but that's not an issue for me. One upgrade I'd like to see from is to allow for synchronized billing (where I can bill everyone on the same day). I definitely recommend the plugin!

Using with Stripe only, no problem
I have been using this plugin for a while now. It is minimal and has just the features I need, and the payments with Stripe work flawlessly.
