  • Edit: It DOES work, but create multiple authors

    Tried it and it haven't worked because I did not removed one code from the plugin PHP. You must remove/comment the Line 46 in the plugin file: /wp-content/plugins/tutor/classes/Course.php Then it worked. However it did not actualized the author, it added the author. The many times I changed the author, the many times it kept adding authors. Now the course has multiple authors and I don't know how to fix it.

    Could be a five star if editing a core file isn't required :) Also, I had to add 'Author' on top of the tutor instructor role. but hey it works! thank you for coming up with this plugin

  • You have to remove a line of code

    You must remove/comment the Line 40 in the plugin file: /wp-content/plugins/tutor/classes/Course.php in order to be able to save chages, I done myself and it works. dude, this is already clearly stated in the plugin front page.

    I like the idea and the simple approach. The corresponding field for changing the author is displayed, but changes are not saved. Therefore unfortunately useless. Tested on WP 5.4
