A rare free plugin that handles database search/replace
Most webP plugins will handle replacement during page load which creates its own issues with page caching. This is a rare plugin that offers a direct database search/replace during conversion. I use this plugin during build to convert legacy images into webP and then switch to Cimo for conversion during upload. The plugin is to be treated with care. Full backups of the uploads folder and database should be taken first; and tested on Staging. Thank you for building this, it's been a great help.

Essential / Must-have plugin
An essential plugin. It has been extremely helpful, and thanks to it, I was able to quickly solve an issue I had been dealing with on my website. Easy to configure and works flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Error & dead?
Some users including myself, have Fatal errors with this plugin. We can't delete media files without disabling the plugin first. The support log show no answer for more than a month and the last update was 3 months ago. I can be wrong but I presume this plugin is dead. Shame, I liked this plugin. And I suspect that one 5 star rating was not a real rating.

This plugin is too good!
I have tried dozens of image compressor plugins and most of them had fallen to the subscription model. That's strange given that compression is not a resource-intensive task. This plugin brings back the true spirit of WordPress. It's simple, intuitive, and free for everyone. It's so good, I even made a video for this plugin.
