It does exactly what it says in the tin
Nice discovery. It saves me the time to compress / convert prior to upload. It seems to work OK. I have tried on an apache server with basic plesk control panel and WordPress (classic editor) and it works. Then I tried a website that uses Brizy Builder and the pages made with Brizy are still showing the .jpeg images. So if you are using a page builder you might want to run a few checks before using this plugin.

causes conflicts
had troubels running it recently, lost access to library files, restored once deactivated. Could be a combination of plugins, anyway cannot recommend

Just great.
It works. It's seamless. It provides clear explanations of all the options. It's done with the nicest, selfless hacker mindset there is.
