  • Looks good but has slight issues

The plugin looks good on the first look. The form blocks allow you to use WordPress blocks to style the form. It offered all the features that I needed, like spam control. The things that I did not like: The initial dashboard page is purely marketing and upselling, as it does not provide me as the user any value. From there, I need to click on another link to open the forms or entries. There is a persistent notice on every page that can be temporarily dismissed but comes back again on page reload. The forms are a custom post type which is not bad in its self. It is shown in a custom UI which I don't see much value in. The bigger problem is that the custom post type is public and included in the sitemap, that does not make sense.

  • We really love the plugin

Our team genuinely loves this plugin. It’s an incredibly useful tool for creating forms directly within Gutenberg, and it makes the entire process straightforward and efficient. The free version is more than generous, offering everything needed to cover a wide range of common use cases. There are plenty of customization options available in the backend, making it flexible without being complicated. For building and adding a basic form to your website, it includes nearly everything you could need. It’s an excellent solution and one we highly recommend.

  • Perfect Gutenberg forms plugin

Yes, definitely YES! Gutena Forms is an absolute standout for anyone building forms directly in Gutenberg. It's incredibly user-friendly: drag-and-drop blocks make setup a breeze, no coding required. The free version punches way above its weight, handling contact forms, feedback surveys, registrations, and more - with extensive backend customization for styling, validations, notifications, and integrations. Everything from field types to success messages is tweakable without hassle. Honestly, I couldn't spot a single gap for basic-to-moderate form needs (the only exception is the Phone field, available in PRO). If you're tired of bloated plugins, this lightweight gem delivers pro results for free. 5 stars all the way!

  • What I was looking for

  • Unfortunately it doesn't work

I realised that I wasn't receiving any emails from form submissions on my Gutena Forms contact form. I reached out to Gutena support, but didn't have a reply (yet). I tried a different forms plugin, and it worked properly. So I uninstalled Gutena Forms. A shame, because I like the idea of a light touch plugin, and I customised it easily to look the way I want. But if the Submit button causes contacts to vanish without a trace or warning, that's a deal breaker.

  • Just what I was looking for

Really happy I stumbled across Gutena Forms. Absolutely perfect for what I was needing and the fact that it's block based is another win.
