Misleading Plugin Listing and Refusal to Honor Refund
I purchased the Membership for WooCommerce Pro plugin from WP Swings, assuming it was part of the official WooCommerce extensions because of how closely it resembles the real ones. It wasn’t until after installation that I discovered it was a third-party product. When I requested a refund within the timeframe listed in their own 30-day policy (14 days after the purchase in my case), their team repeatedly refused, citing irrelevant exceptions. They also tried to persuade me to purchase another plugin from them instead of processing my refund — which felt like a clear attempt to avoid accountability. WP Swings operates from India but presents itself as a U.S.-based business, selling in USD while ignoring the consumer protection and refund norms that North American customers expect. Their products caused unnecessary confusion and wasted time. I would strongly advise anyone to purchase only from WooCommerce.com or other verified marketplaces to ensure legitimate support and fair policies. — N. Nelson (Canada)
