THE perfect SMTP plugin for WordPress
I’ve been using Meow Mailer with my own custom SMTP server through the “Generic SMTP” option, and it works flawlessly. The setup was quick, and the features are really good: the email logs are available even in the free version, with more advanced options if you need them, and the backup options is great for reliable sending. If you’re still looking for the right SMTP plugin, you can stop here. Five stars! Thank you

Great
An amazing plugin—more powerful and comprehensive than the premium versions of similar plugins. It works perfectly in the background, and it’s all free!

Fantastic FREE SMTP Plugin that works and is easily configured for Multisite
Truly the most comprehensive feature-rich free SMTP plugin. Offers lots of features free that other plugins only offer in paid versions or do not even offer. You'd think creating a plugin for a multisite wordpress, developers would offer a way to set SMTP settings for all sub-sites in the network, but no. I used WP Mail SMTP Free version for a long time and also enjoyed the fact that it is possible to set smtp provider settings in wp-config.php via constants, but I'm tired by aggressive upsell for a pro version, with lots of ads populated on the dashboard. Loved FluentSMTP too, but there's no interface to set network settings for a multisite. This plugin is the best. It offers a way to indicate a fallback provider too - in case the primary provider fails. I'm very happy with this plugin so far. I can imagine in the future development there will also be an option for smart routing, which some PRO plugins offer, but I usually don't need it on my sites. So I'm very happy with this plugin as is.

Excellent plugin and outstanding support
Meow Mailer is a great SMTP plugin — simple, clean, and easy to configure, while still offering everything I need. What impressed me most was the support from the developer. I had a specific issue with sending emails containing PDF attachments, and the developer responded very quickly, investigated the problem, and even prepared a new version of the plugin with proper PDF attachment support. That level of support is exceptional. It is rare to see a developer react so quickly and provide an actual solution instead of just a workaround. The plugin now works perfectly in my WooCommerce setup, including transactional emails with PDF attachments. Highly recommended — both for the quality of the plugin and for the excellent developer support. Thank You!
