  • Website Broke

Would not like to be a person who leaves one star for a free tool, but my emotions leves me no choice. I have many websites. I'm used to create one and leave it working/indexing etc. So I did. Last thing I did - enabled SpeedyCache. It was looking fine at the moment, as my webserver has it's own caching layer. Then in some many weeKs later I found that only front page is opening. So SpeedyCache has added huge ammount of lines to my .htaccess and broke WP page routing. It was sitting like that for a whole time. U don't need piece of code, that breaks your website like that and just sit still. This is not useful. This is parasite. Delete without doubt. This is how I feel now.

  • Handles Massive Concurrent Users

Compared to other plugins, this one handles a large number of concurrent visitors simultaneously on my shared hosting with a 20 EP limit. During testing on loader.io, I observed over 1000 concurrent visitors without any errors.

  • I am not satisfy because major options are in pro version

There are many best cache plugins much more than the speedycache

  • Very nice solution

Your CSS and JS optimization plugin helped me increase my PageSpeed score by 20+ points. The interface is intuitive, and the lazy load option works beautifully with my theme.

  • Accessible directories - Can become a security risk?

Is it possible to protect somehow the direct access of the directories from which the cache is served? I was checking the logs and it seams like a tap was open and a lot of IPs targeting source files wp-content/cache/speedycache/webite.com/assets/---all files--- My .htaccess prevents direct browsing but not there.. if I am to add a rule in htaccess to prevent direct access to javascript/css and other files the plugin stores the site will not function well even if I do the expectation IP of my website still all in the open... and I feel naked leaving all those files in easy access.A bit of security layer would be good.Yes, there's the index.html file in the directory... prevents not displaying the index of files yet as I've said.... there's a leak and IPs are targeting constantly .Also, maybe obfuscate the name of the files... I don't know.Maybe it is nothing and it is not a security risk but better safe than sorry I say.

  • One of the best

I've stress-tested nearly all caching plugins, and this was the only free plugin that performed on the same level as WP Rocket. In my opinion, it's clearly the best caching plugin with a free version.
