It does what you expect!
The plugin add a button in "core" Image block.The button is added in the toolbar.When clicked it opens a big image selector.Here you can search via a text input or by clicking on terms on the left. When you select an image, the plugin automatically add "caption" with credit to photographer and Unsplash.Great when prototyping.
